36 Weeks

I feel like these weeks of summer are just flying by!  I can't believe the first half of my summer vacation is over.  I am already feeling melancholy about leaving my baby boy to return to work.  I do have an increased respect for stay-at-home parents, though.  In some ways it is very difficult, even as you get to spend such great quality time with your child(ren).  I have definitely done some deep thinking about how many other tasks I want (or rather, don't want) to take on next summer.  Spending this time with Gabe is something I truly treasure.
We started off the week with a birthday party / Independence Day celebration with Craig's family.  I captured some really sweet moments between cousins.
Gabe loves pinwheels!

We ended the week with a walk through Elm Park to see the Art in the Park displays.  (I swear I was there too!  There is a picture of me somewhere among Craig's picture files...)

Other pictures from the week:
Our little firecracker

Smiling at the baby in the mirror (sometimes he kisses the mirror too!)

Yogurt & blackberry popsicle

"More, please!"  Baby led weaning for the win!

Talented - 2 toys in hands and 1 on foot!  (Thanks Kathy!)

"Now where did I leave my QRS links..."
"Give me the camera, Mommy.  I'll take the picture myself!"

And a little catch-up from a few weeks ago (Craig was hoarding pictures on his phone and I just remembered I didn't have them) - We went to the Worcester Art Museum with my sister-in-law Debbie.  Trying to expose Gabe to new things, you know?
Doesn't Craig look like Caligula a little, in profile?

Testing out the gauntlet

Cool benches - the seats for the whole thing are made of 1 piece of wood!
