Little by little, this year is creeping by. Who am I kidding? Sometimes it flies! I can't believe our little wiggle worm is already 7 months old. It feels like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital!
And a few days later, he hit 31 weeks:
- Baby led weaning continues to go well. Gabe surprises me in that he likes
almost everything I give him to eat. He also has mastered a straw cup and a sippy cup. We're trying lots of new foods, now that I am not so nervous. (Well, except peanut butter. I haven't given him that yet and I am waiting for a brave day - and a day where his pediatrician is in the office just in case! Not that we have any nut allergies in the family - that we know of.)

- We've made it past 7 months of breastfeeding successfully, which I am really proud of! Craig & I were talking about how much milk Gabriel would need come my return to work at the end of August, and it looks as though I can stop pumping at night already(!) and I won't have to pump at all when I return to work. I also volunteered as a peer leader at our breastfeeding support group, and that went well last week for my first time through.
- Gabe found his feet this week. First he could only grab one, then he got the other. Sock removing is now even easier!
- We are working on sitting up this week. Gabriel can stay up for about 1 minute or so, but as soon as he gets distracted, he falls over. Sometimes it surprises even him!

- We took an afternoon to go enjoy the outdoors at Moore State Park in Paxton. We captured a lot of sweet moments, even with a sleepy baby!
