Wahoo! Gabriel is 6 months old! Craig & I can't even believe it's already been that long since his birth. He also turned 26 weeks old the following day, so here are those pictures. (And let me tell you how difficult it is getting to take a picture where he is not moving or trying to grab the number blocks! I will admit that I had to "photoshop" the 6 month picture to get the blocks in because he was having a ball playing with them!)
- We have been successfully breastfeeding for 6 months! I am so happy that things have been going well for so long and hope we can make it to 1 year. (Found this certificate online & personalized it for fun)
- Babcia visited this weekend. You could tell Gabriel recognized her a little. She had a blast with him, and I got to capture some fun moments of them together.

Had to include this one - totally looks like she is trying to lift him by his legs, haha! |
- Sleep training continues. We are back to a 4:15-4:45am wake-up time for eating, but I can't see that it would be a positive move to withhold nursing at that time. He's been asleep for 9.5+ hours and I myself would be hungry by that point too! I will be asking the pediatrician about this at his 6 month appointment next week. In the meantime, he occasionally breaks out of his swaddle. I got a few fun "Baby Dances at Night" pictures:

- I put on this crazy "loud" outfit the other day, including these random blue, orange, & white shoes that I bought for a song online (they looked a lot more conservative when I saw them in the picture, but oh well, babies don't necessarily need to wear neutral).
- We are working on sitting with Gabe. (He now rolls over both ways all on his own very frequently!) He is doing better in the seat that Nonno got him, and he's very secure when you give him just a little support to sit in your lap. I can't wait for him to sit on his own - I want to get a picture of him in the grass outside in front of my tulips & daffodils. Hopefully we will make it in time! He does a little face-plant when he gets off balance, but sometimes that makes for a very cute photo op:
- Gabriel has been loving on the cats recently (and they on him!). I think they realize that he is a good source for petting (and unfortunately, sometimes pulling fur, but they are pretty tolerant). Here's a shot of Zephyr enjoying his new little brother:
